These courses are suitable for beginners, those more experienced with their art and for anyone wishing to refresh their skills.

Painting workshops are designed to cover:
Drafting / drawing and study of subject
Blocking-in foundations.
Understanding your palette, tone values and hue.
Material techniques, testing various skills on draft paper throughout the process
Achieving a completed personalised work.

Choose between a 2-day intensive workshop or a 6-week program (one half day each week)

Classes are small - a maximum 10 students per group.

You will gain skills to approach painting with more confidence and learn to paint through a range of exercises.
These are designed to teach you the fundamentals, or advance your level of working within your chosen medium.

Students will learn to observe form, light, tone, composition and understand proportion.

You will develop techniques to create a sense of reality, atmosphere or movement, and other desired ideas.
